Acumatica ERP Consultant

Role description

The Acumatica ERP Consultant is responsible for defining SOP and training material for a customer in the distribution and agriculture industry. The idea person has experience in the food industry with background in sales and distribution and can help to determine operational objectives, gather information from business units’ stakeholders and review user documentation and training courses on the product functionality and create user manuals for Acumatica ERP. Work with upper management to establish and implement best practices for the ERP and construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications.  


Job Duties:

·      Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications while serving as primary liaison between external stakeholders like Customers, Partners, ISVs, and Internal stakeholders like developers, testers, and product managers

·      Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications

·      Lead the definition of SOPs and training material for Acumatica ERP, establish best practices and create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training.

·      Analyze business scenarios and requirements for production, engineering, material requirements planning (MRP), and Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS), design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues.

·      Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep the team within the timeline and budget while maintaining automated system protocols by writing and updating procedures.

·      Gather business and technical requirements and create process maps and user test plans while serving as an internal subject matter expert on the designated deployed solutions across multiple business units.

·      Document required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope in addition to reviewing user documentation and training courses on the product functionality.

·      Provide and document detailed functional specifications with use cases, mockups, UML Diagrams, and other process flows, determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats.

·      Keep leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.

·      Monitor and evaluate the training outcomes to measure user satisfaction, knowledge retention, skill acquisition, and performance improvement.


Education & Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s Degree required

·      Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus (verbal, written)

·      Must be able to occasionally travel to Puerto Rico site to introduce system

·      4+ years’ experience working with ACUMATICA ERP sales and distribution solutions for the food industry is required (data analytics/reporting, accounting, A/R, A/P, Inventory, WMS, IT Ops, Application Integration and SOPs)

·      Ability to evaluate business scenarios and requirements for production, engineering, material requirements planning (MRP), and Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS)

·      Must have experience managing 3rd party vendors

·      Ability to gather business requirements from different stakeholders, analyze, design according to the product's principle, and write a detailed functional specification with use cases, mockups, UML Diagrams, and other process flows

·      Must have experience creating end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training to staff members

The Business Analyst will be working within the Risk Management division to provide an understanding of the regulatory environment and how the risks of the products and services offered are viewed by the Second Line of Defense and regulators. This person will be facilitating Business Line awareness of and adherence to risk frameworks, policies, and standards and issue validation while continuously monitoring all sources of risk existing within the Business Line and externally. The ideal person can understand where operational, strategic, reputational, compliance, and model risks exist in the Business Line and continually assess and improve controls to mitigate those risks.


Job Duties:

·        Drive Risk Culture throughout organization ensuring awareness in the Business Line of risk frameworks, policies and standards while working with team members and key stakeholders to develop appropriate metrics and deliver relevant and accurate data.

·        Work with internal teams to gain an in-depth understanding of existing risks, causes, severity rating, controls and remediation.

·        Facilitate training for Business Lines to provide awareness of risk frameworks, policies, programs, processes, issue validation, etc., reporting and escalating exceptions to Business Line corrective actions.

·        Continuously monitor all sources of risk existing within the Business Line and externally while engaging in research, peer networking, and experience to anticipate critical risk issues impacting the Business Line.

·        Understand where operational, strategic, reputational, compliance, and model risks exist in the Business Line and continually assess and improve controls to mitigate those risks.

·        Monitor risk profile to maintain tolerance within Risk Appetite.

·        Draft and execute test procedures to assess operating effectiveness of controls.

·        Obtain, examine and analyze records from various systems, reports, operating practices, and documentation for compliance with bank policies, regulatory compliance and adherence to appropriate procedures by communicating with Business partners across the Bank.

·        Ensure proper utilization of bank policies and line of business procedures.

·        Performs control evaluations (both control design and control performance assessments) through collaboration with various stakeholders while influencing parties towards strategic goals.


Education & Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree is required

·        Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish) and the ability to summarize and present complex information and issues succinctly for the required target audience is a must

·        2+ years’ in IT Risk Management, Internal Controls, IT Auditing is required

·        Previous experience testing controls ensuring compliance with Regulations, Corporate Standards, and Corporate Policy within automated environments

·        Demonstrated experience supporting and/or leading risk projects across multiple business lines offering a wide variety of financial services products and services

·        Must have banking experience (retail banking and risk management)

 

Plus:

·        Previous experience within IT Audits is a plus
