Business Analyst
Role description
The Data/Business Analyst will function as the liaison between the technical and internal/external teams & clientele reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and documenting business data regarding large, complex IT integration and customer migration projects. Create, present and document reports and dashboards to present, explain and review analysis/findings with team members and client personnel. Utilize PowerBI, Tableau and MS Excel (Macros) to manage and present data. The ideal person for this job possesses technical skills to generate necessary reports/dashboards and present interpretations of data to upper management in a clear concise manner and can develop and document new operational processes, business rules policies and conduct UAT duties while supporting training functions.
Job Duties:
· Conduct requirements gathering through interviews, document and artifact analysis, facilitate workshop sessions, business process documentation, customer journeys, user stories, business rules, scenarios, business analysis, GAP analysis task analysis and workflow.
· Collaborate with other teams to ensure accessibility, user experience, and other key components are factored into requirements, development, and testing processes.
· Communicate and collaborate proactively with external/internal customers to analyze data and functional needs and offer functional requirements, business requirements and user stories.
· Work with cross functional teams to provide support to Product Strategy Team to guarantee that the accurate data is effectively processed and analyzed to understand business needs, customer behavior, and maintain key essential metrics.
· Develop use cases and execution of UAT tests and facilitate training sessions and documentation.
· Bring strong analytical skills to the program, including a deep understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into detailed user stories and functional and operational specifications.
· Perform data analysis to interpret mapping of product, rate plans; and devices while building visualizations and reports for requested projects using PowerBI and Tableau.
· Help to develop communications (both in written and in presentation formats) that convey ideas and recommendations in a clear and convincing way
· Conduct research on specific topics and apply it in support of engagement requirements
· Provide support to business and quality control teams to provide guidance and clarification regarding business requirements questions.
· Provide administrative support for the program, including scheduling meetings, writing meeting minutes, and maintaining documentation of requirements and processes.
Education & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written, verbal, reading)
· 2+ years’ experience presenting business cases and data results to upper management
· Knowledge of BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau Software)
· Must be able to explain meaning/findings of data analysis results to executives teams
· Produce business requirements and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders
