Cybersecurity Architect

Role description

Cybersecurity Architect (mid-level) , Looking for a qualified Cybersecurity Architect to join the team in Madrid, with at least five (5) years of experience. This hybrid role, combining face-to-face and telecommuting work, to join the cybersecurity architecture team. It requires a holistic approach to cybersecurity to participate in various client consulting cybersecurity projects. The profile will be in the corporate area of the group, so English is a huge PLUS for the performance of work, and global collaboration with other areas of the company.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Risk management associated with new projects and initiatives of the company.
  • Continuous improvement of controls, services and technologies implemented in the area.
  • Design and develop robust and scalable cybersecurity architectures.
  • Lead identity protection projects and the development of secure code.
  • Technical implementation of cybersecurity measures and controls, following the policies and best practices dictated in the area.
  • Project management following Agile and PMO methodologies.
  • Support and ensure excellence in project and implementation management, as well as in the management of different cybersecurity services.
  • Create architecture documentation, manuals, and guidelines to support cybersecurity projects, services, and initiatives.
  • Train internal personnel and services on cyber tasks as needed.
  • Ensure and promote cybersecurity culture in the company.
  • Keep updated with the latest trends and threats in cybersecurity to ensure the continuous protection of the company.


Education & Requirements: 

 

  • Demonstrable experience at least five years in Cybersecurity, project, and service management (overall).
  • Global vision of security and technological risk from a functional point of view, as well as from a technological point of view.
  • General security knowledge at the level of communications, identity management, authentication, authorization, and cryptography.
  • General knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and identity protection technologies/processes (IGA/IAM/PAM/ITDR).
  • Knowledge in Cyber Intelligence, Monitoring, Detection, and Incident Response Cybersecurity services.
  • Knowledge in information cybersecurity standards and methodologies ISO 27001 / IEC 62443 / OWASP / MITRE ATT&CK...
  • Project management with agile methodologies and PMP.
  • Autonomy, ability to work under minimum supervision. High sense of responsibility and operational excellence.
  • Highly valued professional security certifications widely recognized in the industry (CISM / CISSP / GSEC) and Cloud Security are a huge PLUS.
  • Intermediate or advanced level of English
