Program Manager

Role description

The Program Manager will support Applications and Systems for the monetization and billing/collections platform. This person will be responsible for managing and owning business systems supporting users across the organization and developing new system reporting and automation capabilities. Drive business transformation across the organization through the customer relationship platform with 3rd parties, systems, platforms and applications/tools. The ideal person will be able to own the deployment of the technical integration projects and “roll up their sleeves” to support and resolve technical incidents.

 

 Job Functions:

  • Work with upper management and executive teams to assess workflow between existing systems such as billing, collections, POS, ERP, inventory management, and CRM tools.
  • Lead and drive monetization and billing projects throughout the organization while managing relationships with 3rd parties, internal technical engineering teams and executive management.
  • Create and design project plans for integrating 3rd part tools and systems with SAP, Matrixx Aria, BlueIQ, B2Bops, Salesforce, etc.
  • Serve as management liaison between client and internal and external partners (vendors) that are involved in projects and ensure that projects are on time and within budget.
  • Oversee platform, system & application configuration/integration changes (both functional and non-functional) and support the process of verification of such in a test, development, and pre-production environment.
  • Manage and own project deliverables, roadmaps, release schedules and relations with vendors, executives and internal project/program leadership providing frequent project updates.
  • Create and perform production operational tasks and provide guidance on best practice to wider team regarding platform operation.
  • Guide pricing configuration changes on the Matrixx/Aria Online Charging System (OCS), test and verify changes and support the deployment of the updates into the production environment.
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on Billing applications and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within project deliverables (SOX, GLB, FDIC and/or SEC requirements).

 

 Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
  • 5+ years' experience managing ERP configurations as a Program Manager
  • Strong understanding of 3rd party integrations with Salesforce
  • Familiarity with API tools such as SOAP UI, Postman
  • Ability to work out of hours support work (if necessary) on scheduled activities and high severity production issues / incidents

 

Plus:

  • Knowledge of Matrixx/Aria monetization and billing platforms is highly desired
  • Previous experience in the telecom industry is a huge plus

This senior design and development role is Responsible for the architecture of integrations between applications and services, providing enterprise solutions through the design, modification, development, and implementation of critical complex functionalities, following best practices in a heterogeneous environment.

Education:

bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in object-oriented programming analysis and design, design patterns.

·       Develops enterprise applications in distributed environments,

·       Develops applications in JAVA, and components for scalable architectures using J2EE application servers such as WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, SCA, WSDL, BPEL, Web Services Engines, CSS, XHTML, HTML, AJAX, XML, HTTP, JSF, Restful, JSON, XLST, WS-* or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • Basic knowledge of UNIX/AIX/Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with development tools/IDEs such as Websphere Integration Developer and Informatica Power Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, designs, develops, and implements primary infrastructure (middle-tier) and common services at the enterprise level.
  • Creates proof of concept and implementations of new technologies and platforms focused on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Artificial Intelligence.

  • Instructs the development team on application integration, standards, best practices, and the available services.
  • Supports the infrastructure team in the installation, configuration, and tuning of products supporting integration, such as Websphere Process Server (ESB).
  • Leads development teams in strategic projects.
  • Documents and models technology processes and architecture using the TOGAF framework and languages such as Archimate and UML.
  • Participates in other strategic projects as required and/or performs other related technical tasks as necessary.

Licenses and/or Certifications:

Licenses or certifications

are not required to perform the previously mentioned duties. However, TOGAF 9.2 certification is preferable but not required, as well as other related certifications. Additional licenses or certifications related to the position may be required for optimal job performance.

Language:

Bilingual (Spanish and English), with the ability to read, write, and speak in both languages. Excellent communication skills at various levels within the organization.
