Project Coordinator
Role description
As a Project Coordinator, the individual provides essential support to the Project Manager, facilitating project planning and execution by scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and updating project plans. They assist in information collection and validation to ensure data accuracy and contribute to the preparation of status reports and presentations for stakeholders. Additionally, they support communication and training efforts, ensuring team members are informed and aligned with project objectives. With strong skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word, they efficiently track progress, manage project documents, and communicate updates, while demonstrating excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment between various stakeholders and project objectives.
- Support the Project Manager by scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and updating project plans to reflect progress and changes.
- Assist in gathering, validating, and organizing information critical to project execution, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, presentations, and communication materials to keep stakeholders informed of project milestones and developments.
- Collaborate with team members to provide training and ensure clear communication across all phases of the project.
- Leverage a strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and technical concepts to assist in managing infrastructure assets, networking, network security, and virtualization initiatives.
- Utilize MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word to support project tracking, reporting, and documentation efforts.
- Ensure the smooth flow of communication between technical teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and facilitate project success.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly convey project updates, challenges, and requirements.
Education & Required Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience in project coordination or related roles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure technical concepts, including infrastructure assets, networking, and network security.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and managing virtualized environments.
