Sr. IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist
Role description
Duties:
- Oversee IT services, including applications, network identity & access management, end-user devices
- Provide IT support to end users and manage infrastructure such as networks, VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), Azure, meeting room tech, Wi-Fi, and MFPs, with laptops and mobile phones.
- Lead and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for Corporate-IT BC/DRP.
- Manage asset inventory along with corporate IT systems such as email, collaboration tools, end-user applications (all non-engineering applications), ITSM (Information Technology Service Management), end-user productivity apps for IT environment and change management processes.
- Implement and oversee access management and IAM solutions for secure user access across all apps
- Automate IT operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Develop processes to improve end-user technology adoption and ensure endpoint security.
- Plan and execute patch management, system rollouts, updates, and cybersecurity incident response.
- Assist on monitoring and aligning technology budgets, participate in vendor negotiations, assure cost optimizations, and execute expense allocation.
- Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding and manage third-party vendor risks and performance.
- Evaluate third-party vendor risks and monitor vendor performance ensuring compliance & security.
Competencies:
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically SCRUM and/or SAFe.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience with IDP solutions such as SAML and OAuth are a plus
- Proficiency in managing Okta for enterprise identity and access management (or similar tool).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in IT operations, system administration, and cyber-related field.
- Fully bilingual: English & Spanish
- Candidate must be based in-office five days a week in San Juan, Puerto Rico
