Integration Architect
Role description
This senior design and development role is Responsible for the architecture of integrations between applications and services, providing enterprise solutions through the design, modification, development, and implementation of critical complex functionalities, following best practices in a heterogeneous environment.
Education:
bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in object-oriented programming analysis and design, design patterns.
· Develops enterprise applications in distributed environments,
· Develops applications in JAVA, and components for scalable architectures using J2EE application servers such as WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, SCA, WSDL, BPEL, Web Services Engines, CSS, XHTML, HTML, AJAX, XML, HTTP, JSF, Restful, JSON, XLST, WS-* or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/AIX/Linux and Windows.
- Experience with development tools/IDEs such as Websphere Integration Developer and Informatica Power Center.
- Experience with WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Enterprise Services Bus, WebSphere DataPower, and WebSphere Application Server.
- Basic knowledge of Six Sigma or another process improvement methodology is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies, designs, develops, and implements primary infrastructure (middle-tier) and common services at the enterprise level.
- Creates proof of concept and implementations of new technologies and platforms focused on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Artificial Intelligence.
- Manages business processes to identify common services, reinforcing developments according to established guidelines.
- Establishes processes, standards, and guidelines to support services while maintaining an updated service catalog.
- Establishes processes, standards, service level agreements, and guidelines for managing the lifecycle of the company's integration services.
- Collaborates with internal clients, analysts, and the development team to identify, design, and implement business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency while maintaining consistency and integrity. Uses disciplines like EAI, SOA, and Business Process Management (BPM), among others.
- Participates in due diligence required to acquire new software packages or commercial applications, evaluating all integration capabilities according to established operational procedures.
- Monitors technological trends to identify opportunities and capabilities in EAI and BPM process management.
- Instructs the development team on application integration, standards, best practices, and the available services.
- Supports the infrastructure team in the installation, configuration, and tuning of products supporting integration, such as Websphere Process Server (ESB).
- Leads development teams in strategic projects.
- Documents and models technology processes and architecture using the TOGAF framework and languages such as Archimate and UML.
- Participates in other strategic projects as required and/or performs other related technical tasks as necessary.
Licenses and/or Certifications:
Licenses or certifications
are not required to perform the previously mentioned duties. However, TOGAF 9.2 certification is preferable but not required, as well as other related certifications. Additional licenses or certifications related to the position may be required for optimal job performance.
Language:
Bilingual (Spanish and English), with the ability to read, write, and speak in both languages. Excellent communication skills at various levels within the organization.
